Butterflies at 2001metres

From the village of Caloca (1108 m) a walk up through flower meadows and broom to the top of Peña Bistruey (2001m).

The view from the peak, where the only clouds were of swallowtail butterflies. The Cereceda valley and the Picos de Europa range.

Summer pastures of the Tudanca cattle.

An astonishing variety of wildflowers.
