We have seen some great things.
Studio 77 is the workshop of Mandy Tait or Natty Maid prints who ‘loves to print with anything’.

I learned a new word there : “collography”.
Mandy’s studio is on the same premises as the Makers’ Gallery in Alloa. They have some lovely stuff for sale and an intriguing events programme.

Textiles! Louise in nearby Alva who inspires with her dreamy, technically brilliant tapestries.

Photos just can’t do justice…studio number 80.

Meanwhile the ‘journey down the lane’ to West Moss-side by Thornhill was well worthwhile. Since I: fell in love at first sight with a painting, burst into tears at the sight of sketchbooks, and got to see inside a yurt. Studio number 13…lucky for some…
