We go to the Olympics

This Tuesday was a big adventure. We packed the new car with the bikes and set off at 5am for London. We were there in Hyde Park along with 200,000 others to see gold, silver, bronze for Great Britain and Spain in the Triathlon. No tickets required, super atmosphere, the kids even enjoyed themselves.

We cycled around Hyde Park and then had ice cream in Kensington Gardens then cycled through Green Park to go and see the Queen’s House. The car very much enjoyed mixing in such exalted company: in Knightsbridge car park it was surrounded by Rolls Royces, Ferraris and Bentleys! We had tea (scotcheggs, pork pies, ham and mustard) in Harvey Nichols café afterwards with the footballers’ wives. You should have seen Daniel’s face on having the street doors opened for him by the doorman.
